Wm. Kent Johnson, MD, FACS, RPVI is a physician at Texas Vein & Wellness Institute.
Dr. Johnson is a board-certified general surgeon who is also a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons (FACS), as well as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI). He also maintains memberships in the following: Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, American Venous and Lymphatic Society, Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
Dr. Johnson has been in practice as a surgeon since 1993, now sub-specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of venous diseases. For his undergraduate degree, Dr. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science from Baylor University. He then earned his medical degree at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1988 and completed a surgical residency at St. Joseph Hospital and the Texas Medical Center in 1993.
When not taking care of his patients, he enjoys playing electric guitar (rock, blues, country), farm management, and gardening. Dr. Johnson is also an avid fan of classic muscle cars.
Dr. Johnson has privileges at the Memorial Healthcare System, St. Luke’s Hospital System, and Houston Northwest HCA Hospital. Dr. Johnson’s practice is currently focused on vein treatments at the Memorial location of Texas Vein & Wellness Institute.
