Fall Shopping: 3 Types of Trends to Get on Board With if You Have Varicose Veins

Now that fall is here, it’s time to go shopping and revamp your wardrobe. With so many fun boot and flat trends out there, there are tons of adorable (and harmful) options if you have varicose veins. Whether you have varicose veins on your legs or your feet, the type of shoe you wear can make a big difference in how you feel. To make sure that you stay as comfy as possible all fall long, let’s go over a few different options that can help you with your varicose veins.

Tennis Shoes

One of the most popular trends right now in fashion is activewear. And, the great thing about it is that it’s all comfortable. This fall, get a good pair of tennis shoes that have a bunch of flexibility and support in them. One of the main things you will want to look at is the arch support. ?does it give you the extra cushion that you need? If so, then they may be the perfect option to help you with your varicose veins.

Flat Boots

Even though high heeled boots may look sexy, they won’t make your veins feel sexy. The good news though is that there are still plenty of cute flat boot options out there. Whether you prefer something lower like booties or something super sexy like over the knee boots, you can find ones that are flat, have arch support, but that won’t hurt your varicose veins when you are walking around or standing for long periods.

Compression Socks

In addition to getting some fun fall shoes, don’t forget to get some compression socks or stockings. If you have varicose veins on your legs, then compression stockings are the way to go, but if you have them on your feet, then you should be fine with compression socks. Compression socks and stockings work by placing pressure on the veins, which help patients like you find some relief from pain, swelling, and irritation caused by varicose veins.
